Meet the Chefs 

The Bunker’s husband-and-wife team, Dave and Candice Galvin, has turned Gordon Golf Course into a dining experience in the upper North Shore.  

With nearly 20 years of restaurant experience, Dave and Candice have worked at some of Sydney’s most renowned establishments. They spent two decades refining their craft in Sydney’s hatted restaurants, and now are producing some of the most innovative fare in the upper North Shore. Working together as dedicated chefs, Dave and Candice produce upmarket pub cuisine for both golf players and the public.

So, what’s Dave’s favourite dish? “Desserts,” he says, with a grin. Creativity is key for Candice, a chef who’s been in the food industry for nearly two decades. As well as cooking fresh dishes, her love of home-grown offerings have come to the fore, producing her original sourdough. The couple’s gastronomic talent has turned The Bunker into a North Shore hotspot. See what’s on offer next time you dine here.
